Attention: Saturday 17 September, there will be no classes in our own dojo.
Instead, you can participate free of charge in a knowledge exchange between some dojo in Ghent.
The intention is to exchange as much knowledge as possible and to make some publicity for Aikido. We hope to see as many members of our dojo as possible at this enriching experience.
Or to put it in the words of the organising Go Ryo dojo:
“Go Ryu”, the name of our dojo, means “flowing together”. It symbolises the coming together of different streams, streams that reinforce each other.
In Aikido there are different schools or streams. On 17 September 2022, Go Ryu will bring together a number of these schools, with the aim of sharing our experiences. After all, we are all passionate about the same art, striving for the same goal. By sharing our experiences we strengthen each other.
This will take place in Sportzaal Neptunus, Botestraat 98, Wondelgem Ghent from 14h until 17h30.
The 3 participating dojo’s are the initiating Go Ryo dojo (www.aikidogent.be, represented by Dries Cappon, Sandan), Ten Chi no dojo (www.tenchinodojo.be, represented by Alain Dujardain, rokudan) and our dojo (Guy, sandan).
